On the evening of March 29th, the inauguration ceremony of the 5th Supervision Committee of Shijie Branch of Dongguan Foreign Investment Enterprise Association and the 2023 Spring Tea Dinner were held. Representatives of foreign-funded enterprises gathered together to reminisce about friendship and discuss development. It is reported that the new council will play a "triple role" between government and enterprises, promoting high-quality development of Dongguan through high-level development of foreign investment.
Yu Weiguang, a fourth level researcher from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Lian Hansen, President of the Municipal Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises, Deng Weihong, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, and Xiang Jiexin, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee and Mayor of the Town, and other members of the Town leadership team attended the event.
The event kicked off with the singing of the national anthem. Lian Hansen, Deng Weihong, Xiang Jiexin, and others issued certificates to Yuan Yingtang, the fifth chairman of the board of directors of the Shijie Branch of the Dongguan Foreign Investment Enterprise Association, as well as the executive vice chairman, vice chairman, secretary-general, advisor, and chairman and deputy chairman of the supervisory board.
Lian Hansen congratulated the newly elected members of the supervisory committee, pointing out that the Shijie branch actively builds a communication platform for member enterprises, carries out various activities, and creates a "warm home" for foreign investors in Shijie. Next, the association will continue to tell the good story of Shijie Investment, play a bridging role, guide foreign-funded enterprises to fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the new development concept, do well, strengthen, and expand, and actively integrate into the high-quality development process of Dongguan.
